About God
God is the sovereign Creator of the Universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. These are co-equal and one God.
(Genesis 1:1, 26, 27, 3:22; John 10:30)

About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
(John 10:30; I Corinthians, 15:3f)

About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.
(John 14:28; John 16:7-10)

About the Bible
The Bible is the infallible and inerrant word of God. It was God-breathed and God-inspired to the human hands that transcribed it. It is used for the purpose of instruction, rebuke, exhortation, and redemption of Man to God. For this reason, The Springs embraces the Bible as its authority and basis for both belief and practice.
(II Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 4:4, John 20:31)

About Human Beings
Man is God’s creation, made in His image. He was the climax of God’s creative efforts. Though created in God’s image, Man has an inclination toward sin. This inevitable sin is the separating agent between God and Man only bridged by a saving relation ship with Jesus Christ.
(Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23, 6:23; John 3:16)

About Salvation
Because God loved His creation, He provided a salvific gift to bridge the sin separating Himself and man. Man can not erase his sin through works, but only through trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness. Salvation occurs upon one’s belief and receipt of Jesus Christ into his life through faith. (Galatians 3:26; Romans 6:23, John 14:6; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9)

About Salvation
The local church is the hope of the world. It exists as an earthly extension of God’s Kingdom on earth as a unified body of believers.
(Acts 2:46-47; Ephesians 4:1-16)

About Baptism
Baptism is an act of obedience that serves as a symbol of, and follows, one’s salvation experience. It symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus modeled this water baptism to set an example for all believers to follow as a public testimony.
(Colossians 2:12; Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 29:19; Acts 2:38)
